OWLYPIA 2019

International Hope School Bangladesh started as a single campus serving a small number of very young students in 1996. It has since grown to eight campuses in three cities: the main campus in Uttara, toddlers to A levels and Gulshan branch in Dhaka, the pre and junior school in Bogra and pre to A level campus in Chattogram. The Chattogram campus, being one of the largest English medium school in the city has hosted both national and international events within its premises. The latest one being Owlypia, Intellectual’s Challenge, which comprises of online, local and global rounds. In the noon of 7th December 2019, the online round had been successfully overseen by IHSB, Chattogram. Owlypia Online is an online knowledge competition in the form of a multiple-choice exam. STEM FEST 2019

On 30th November, IHSB Chattogram branch organised the first ever STEM Fest event in Chattogram. STEMFEST is a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Anupam Sen, Vice Chancellor of Premier University. This highly visible event at IHSB Chattogram provided an opportunity for students to explore their innovative ideas through projects in respective fields.Numerous hands-on activities, performances by robots, interactive demonstrations, and family-oriented STEM entertainment were featured in this innovative event.

Factory Visit

"Taking care of environment is not an obligation - our environment is our life" Young scientists of IHSB visited ‘N. Mohammad Plastic factory’ to learn about plastic recycling and producing plastic without harming the environment. They had the opportunity to learn about the chemicals from which plastic is made and exchanged views on recycling materials in Bangladesh.
